Quality, caring pet boarding

We are a passionate, caring facility that caters to the needs of your fur-baby.

Short-term and Long-term stays

Our rates are $18 per cat in an individual enclosure or $16 per cat in a double enclosure.

Please note: On 1st October 2024 the rate for a single cat will increase. See the new rates below:

Single enclosure: $20 per night.

2-3 cat enclosure: Remains at $16 per night per cat.

Multi cat enclosure: $18 per night.

Also to better accommodate short stays, we are removing the 3-night minimum charge as a trial.

These adjustments are necessary to ensure we can continue to provide the highest quality care and maintain our facilities to the highest standards. We understand that any price change can be challenging, and we assure you that this decision was made with careful consideration.

All bookings made before 1st October 2024 will remain at the current pricing.

Long-term stays

For long term stays greater than 4 weeks, we may be able to offer a reduced rate. Please enquire with us to discuss. 

Minimum charge of 3 nights removed

Due to our strict cleaning regime between stays in our runs, we previously had a minimum stay charge of 3 nights. This helped cover the costs of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for your cats. 

Please note: On 1st August 2024 to better accommodate short stays, we are removing the 3-night minimum charge. This is a trial and will be reviewed after 2 months.

Public holidays and Christmas fees

There is a small $2 charge per night per cat for public holiday weekends, statutory holidays and the Christmas/New Years holiday period. If you would like more information, please contact us.

Disclaimer

In the unlikely event of a medical emergency, Paws In Te Puna reserves the right to transport your pet to the first available vet and if you are unable to be contacted, to make decisions deemed to be in the best interest of the cat. All costs incurred would be passed on to the owner.
