  • How can I make a booking?

The best way is to use our booking system linked on our website. You set up a profile and you can request bookings directly from there. If you need some help or want talk to us, just call, text or email us.

  • Can I bring my own bedding, toys and blankets?

We do provide igloos, bedding and other stimulus for the cats. If your cat requires their own, feel free to bring this along.

  • Do you supply food during the stay?

Our guests are fed Royal Canin dry food at Paws in Te Puna.

If your Cat has a different food or a specific diet, you might want to bring their food.

We do not charge extra for feeding your food or medications.

If you  prefer your cat to have wet food, ask us about our wet food option.

  • Will my Cat share a room?

We have multiple options depending on your cats needs.

When cats are in an individual or double run, we keep the feline families seperated.

If you have a social cat, there is a multi cat enclosure. This is where cats from different feline families can interact. There is a strict vaccination policy for this.

  • Do you live on the property?

Yes we do, you can rest assured that your Cats are watched over even in the evenings. Please observe our opening hours as a courtesy.

  • How much notice do I need to give when making a booking?

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible. Normally, you can book right up to the day of your Cats stay. During Christmas/New Years, Easter and other weekends we can book up months in advance.

  • Why is there a 3 night minimum charge?

To maintain a hygenic environment, each run is throughly cleaned and sanitised prior to your cat staying with us.

This is an in depth process and the 3 night minimum charge covers the cost of this.

Please note: As of 1st August 2024 to better accommodate short stays, we are removing the 3-night minimum charge. All bookings prior to 1st August 2024 will be at the current rate.

  • Are there any exciting updates for us?

    Yes there is!

Nutrition: We have partnered with Royal Canin to provide our cat food. This was after careful consideration to find the best food that would suit your cat's needs. After receiving specialist advice from a qualified advisor we went with the Feline Sensitive product and is already a hit with the cats! We have also begun offering a Royal Canin wet food option at a daily price of $2.50. Contact us for more info on this.

Multi Cat Social Room: This is now available!

This provides a social scene for cats of different families to interact with no minimum night stay. Cats are required to be up to date with vaccinations, healthy and of a sociable nature.  follow us on social media for updates.

Improvements: We are always striving to offer the best experience possible. We have been busy constructing cat towers, revamping runs, implementing new bedding and igloos, and we have even re-vamped the entrance and driveway. We have more projects on the horizon, watch this space for updates.
